V-Commandos: Helmet

:game_die: 2, 6

That’s got the enemy-3, save.

Medic next, so that the Officer can use an Assault to give us more shots if necessary?

Makes sense to me

@RogerBW asked for a die roll:
Enemy-3 drops a first aid kit.
Medic moves N, shoots E at the remaining enemy:
2d6: 2 + 6 = 8 for 4+

and moves E.

Officer moves N and E, shoots door?

Once the Officer has done that, can Bruno move E with his saved action?

Makes sense to me.

Yes, N, E, shoot door. And use saved action to shoot anyone who comes in from the S.

@RogerBW asked for a die roll:
OK. Bruno uses his saved AP to move into the NE room.
Enemy reinforcements (E, S, W):
enemy-2
enemy-1
enemy-3
Western crowbar fails.

Officer spends saved AP to shoot at the newcomer:
2d6: 1 + 6 = 7 vs 4

Drops: TNT.

Turn 13

I suggest that the medic, who still has a saved action, go first with south, open trapdoor, out; then the other two can go south, out, save, and we all have saved actions for the final terrain.

Sounds good to me. Bruno will grab the TNT unless someone else wants it.

Go for it. Officer moves S, out, and saves

Turn 14

Hmm. That means that “lurk in the entrance room” isn’t going to work, at least not for all of us.

Does the tank get to shoot if there are no visible commandos?

Good point; I think it can’t.

So we open the door and clear the MG nest, but if that works should one of us hide in the nest? Means a stealth check but saves an action later.

Let’s avoid stealth checks if we can. How about?

Bruno: Up, shoot door, shoot MG nest, save.
Medic: Up, shoot MG nest, shoot MG nest, save.
Officer: Up, Assault on MG nest (getting another shot each for Bruno & Medic), Save.

Then when the enemy enters to the south, we shoot it with saved actions.

That’s the more sensible plan, certainly. My only slight reservation, and it is slight, is that there’s a fair chance we waste a bunch of our actions.

If we start that way, but take out the enemy in the nest early, you’re presumably thinking in terms of advancing and killing the enemy in the SW in this turn? You want to occupy the nest so that the enemy who will enter W won’t get in there?

Yes - but I admit it’s risky.

I think that in any case we can shoot the new W enemy after the reinforcement phase but before he moves into the nest in the movement phase.
