Ooh, good point, closed door. I can do that with my spare action and then we can all end up with +1s at the end of the next turn.
OK, that’s a plan. Let’s do it.
OK. Enemies move (costing the Officer his +1). No enemy fire.
Turn 9
No outdoor tiles, not a problem.
Officer does Move [to medium tile but in uniform, 1 being stealthy], Move, Save.
Bruno does Move, Crowbar, Move.
Medic does Move, Move, Shoot lock.
- Enemies E, S, W are:
enemy-2
enemy-2
enemy-1 - Enemies move W.
- Enemies have nobody to shoot at.
Turn 10
Well, the move North isn’t great, but it could be worse.
My thoughts:
Somebody moves E, shoots lock, shoots S. If more people need to shoot S, they do. We all move into the objective room with as many saved AP as we can manage.
Yup, that’s what we need to do. Bruno will move E, shoot the door, and shoot S.
3, 4
Got him, move S.
Drops: bombardment. (Might be useful on the way out.)
I’ll shoot the E door of the northern room on my way past (might be useful as an exit route). I don’t think that leaves much for the Officer to do, alas - @COMaestro you can join us in there, but you may be able to come up with something better. (Given that we need 8 AP in the same turn on the objective and Bruno’s just spent his saved one, having all of us in the room may be best.)
Please come in here, @COMaestro. With you here, Officer and Medic can spend 3 each next turn, Bruno spends 2, and we finish the turn with that objective accomplished and everyone with a saved action.
That is my plan. E, S, twiddle thumbs.
Question: Why did I need to use my +1 to move the enemy units? From the event card, it sounds like it just happens, as it does not mention needing to use an action.
Oh, good point, my misreading of it.
I guess we spend 8 AP, and all end up with a saved action.
One of us can spend 1AP on something else, as it might be moving north, since we know where the enemy will be going.
I’m clearly confused. Medic and Officer spend 3 each, preserving their +1s. Bruno spends 2, and saves 1. 3+3+2 = 8. Where’s the other 1AP coming from?
Ah, I thought Bruno still had his +1. OK - I’ll sort this later this evening.
The plan is good. Someone should pick up the Bombardment, just in case we want it. And I guess we need to figure out how we want to get out of here?
I think we go back the way we came: Bruno would go N, shoot W, possibly again, then W.
I’m just concerned with that horde of guys assembling behind the crowbar’d door. If a sledgehammer enemy is pulled there, they will break through the door and move N. By the same token, any reinforcements from the E entry will move N, so that’s not a good way to go either.
E is a better way, because there’s no accumulation of enemies. We can likely all get into the NE room with no enemies and the door to the exit room shot, and a saved action each next turn.
