I’ve enabled user interface language settings. Since we’re all being Anglophone here it won’t make a big difference, except that it determines what language your web browser is prompted to use for its built-in spellcheck.

If this is a thing you care about, it may be worth checking your settings: (User icon), (cogwheel), Preferences, Interface, Interface Language. English options are “English” (UK) and “English (United States)”.

What’s the default?

Good question. For older users it seems to be “English (United States)” but I suspect for new users it may be “English”.

Well it was United States for me.

I only have US as an English option.
