Twilight Imperium 4th Edition: PBF GAME 1

Nope. 1 hit from his Racial tech was cancelled by Tellurian, 2 fighters vapourized by a staggeringly accurate Destroyer anti-fighter barrage, and then 1 more hit.

So 3 full-health Cruisers, and 1 damaged one.

Got it!

Can I build more ships where I have a space dock, or does my fleet level limit me (ie I have to move stuff before building more?)

Oh yeah, got that for the prerequisite, forgot it actually did something :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: yeah we’ll keep a trade good.

You can build, but any ships in excess of your Fleet Limit are destroyed. It doesn’t stop you from building, but the ships don’t get to move as a result.

This only applies to Capital ships, of course. Fighters are limited by capacity, unless you have Fighter II tech, in which case they are limited by capacity or Fleet Limits, whichever makes more sense for you at the time (so the Ghosts, who have that tech, could have 3 Carriers with Capacity 3 each in a system and therefore could have 10 Fighters in that space… 9 supported by the Carriers, and 1 by their Fleet Limit of 4).

Basically, if you want the ships to survive, you need to move them somewhere else first, but you can build there and just scrap the excess if that’s easier.

Is Archon Vail still empty? If so I’ll activate it and send a cruiser and a fighter there from Lisis

It is still empty, yes.

You won’t take over that planet unless you land troops, though. Is that okay?

EDIT: Also, it doesn’t look like you have a Cruiser at Lisis. A Carrier, 2 Fighters, and a Flagship are there.

@Delwayne There is an activation token on Lisis that I assume you just missed.

Can I bring a cruiser and fighter from Lisis and an infantry from Velnor?

Lisis and Velnor are in the same system, which again has no cruisers, but rather your flagship and a carrier. You can move either or both from there to Archon Val and can bring infantry from either planet, as both ships have capacity (3 for the flagship, 4 for the carrier). You could also bring the two fighters if you wish.

Sorry, keep typing cruiser.

Carrier, 1 fighter, 1 infantry to Archon Vail

And I assume land on and claim Archon Vail?

(No problems from me: we had agreed that I would “return” Archon Vail several turns ago and you’ve let me hold onto it for this long) Just asking for clarity’s sake.

Okay, so Archon Vail passes over to the Xxcha.

I think that brings us to the Mentak and @GeeBizzle with Warfare (at a 6, with Technology for the Yssaril and Imperial for the Winnu).

That’s it, got there in the end

Just confirming that @GeeBizzle knows its their turn.

Yup I’m going to attack but will need to look at the movement options to figure out what to move.

Will post tonight.

Ok from meer and Anirim I’ll move a cruiser, a dreadnought, a carrier , a fighter and 2 infantry (1 from each) into everra. I don’t know how war works so this is purely exploratory.

@Marx asked for a die roll:
Okay, so first thing is PDS fire. This is optional by all parties in the system activated (and/or adjacent systems that have PDS 2 Tech).

The Xxhca flagship has Space Cannon x3 that can strike into adjacent systems, and they have 1 PDS in the system, so those 4 shots will happen first.

So it will be 1 PDS hitting on 6+ d10: 6
And 3 shots from the flagship on 5+ pool 3d10: 3× 2

After those shots the Xxcha can decide to exhaust their Graviton Defense Grid to allocate those hits to capital ships.

(if you had PDS 2 Tech, you would also get to shoot into the sector at the same time)

Okay, now we wait for @Captbnut decide to use that tech or not, and after that the Mentak can choose which ships get hit.

If they don’t choose to exhaust the tech, you still get to choose which of your ships are hit, and then we roll into the first round of combat.

I’ll exhaust the tech
