Yes, as the sculpt is very much based on Sean Bean. However, the 28mm figure that comes with this set does have two different head options, one with a big scar that better reflects the written character from Cornwell’s books. I thought that was a nice touch (but I still assembled the Sean Bean version!)

Do you read the books? I always have slight cognative dissonance every time I read that he’s a tall, dark Londoner rather than the image that Sean Bean has imprinted on me.

I’ve read most of them (Cornwell does keep them coming, and I haven’t kept pace with the newer ones) and I agree with your struggle. Sharpe will always look like Sean Bean however he is written thanks to watching the TV series first.

I finished the smaller if my two Sharpe models. I quite like the approach of having a larger (54mm) display model sold alongside a smaller (28mm) figure for gaming with.

Jousting, that noble martial art and contest of arms, as practiced by goblins on their faithful mounts. Six Wartnose Jousters, plus a Clockwork Knight for them to tilt at.

Managed to finish painting these up before Feb ended as well - four evil dwarfs, with a few more on the paint table to follow.

This one is on pause until I get some brush on gloss to do the decals but I feel like some rust has shaken off and it’s better than the previous one and was more enjoyable feeling more in control of the brushes and paint. I have also been experimenting with Kimera Kolors again and added in some of their Velvet inks which are really good
