Nah. It’s the same. The asymmetric power cards sounds bad imo. I bet they werent playtested well

I’m already whining. The tiles are worse! In Samurai, the tiles on both editions have large numbers next to the icons. This edition’s tiles have pips at the bottom. Publishers today are really taking the piss.
I feel the same. The standard edition of Ra already feels nice. (I know it’s a different publisher)

On Facebook there was an advert for 3D ark nova. But it’s got no 3D animals just 3D animals buildings (the aquarium has a shark and octopus models on top)

That’s a really great price for the nicest version of the game! (IMHO)
Sure, it’s in a pretty large box, but unless the shelf space is a significant factor, or you (or your gaming group) are heavily swayed by the new theme, I’d say there’s no reason at all to switch.

Agricola Pledge Manager came in and we’ve gone from $34 to $42 for shipping.
I don’t know how much of that is tariffs, overruns, and currency exchange fluctuations but I don’t like that they try to invisibly slip it in while simultaneously removing the shipping table from the original campaign.
It’s also a bit bonkers. Ah well. In for a dime, in for a dollar.

This was at Wellycon and, like a fool, I failed to even realise who was showing it until it was too late to try it out (I was too fixated on Regicide Legacy). So that’s a shame – I would have liked to have tried it and be able to say something about what I thought.
The “Three Minute Boardgames” video says it’s lightweight tile-laying resource-gathering area-control with a lot of conflict.

I’ve been waiting years for this. But it just all smells wrong.

What is more? Oh, it’s just metal coins. Sorry. The metal coins are the “more.”
Not to mention that just the metal coins take the suggested price from $65 to $115. So unless you are playing with $50 of real money… ? Am I missing something?
So does anyone have the definitive word on Retail? I don’t want to pay a premium for alternative art and a $15 gift card I can’t use without spending that much on shipping.
