Bit ungruntled to see Innovation Ultimate up for presale for under 60. After paying 89 (69 plus tax and shipping) and after beimg assured that retail would be core and expansions sold separate for much more than the big box.

Posted such on the campaign and Chris Cieslik kindly responded saying he’s ungruntled too.

Finally got Age of Rail: South Africa plus the big box for Ride the Rails. Honestly, disappointed on how Capstone doesnt give a crap about this game - can understand it somewhat when youre too busy printing Ark Nova money, but the rulebook is just shoddy.

Update:

  • Innovation - slow but it’s cool. I have the older edition to play
  • Oath expansion
  • Bug Council of Backyardia and Long Live Backyardia
  • Mindbug new wave - new stuff from Mindbug which is a surprise game for me last year
  • Ministry of Lost Things - Rita Orlov puzzle game? Instabuy
  • The Old King’s Crown - would be funny if I end up keeping this one when i sold my Cole Werhles
  • String Railway - this is in fulfillment step. Cant wait
  • Bitewing’s triple Knizias
  • Pax Illuminaten and Pax Maleficium - im unsure about these now. Only Werhle and Matt Eklund have done top notch work in this series.
  • Smoothie Wars
  • 18Svea - 2 hour 18xx, eh?
  • Ur 1830 BC - Wyvern and I tried this and found it cool

I’m not sure. I remember feeling hyped about two of them but it’s faded a bit since it dawned that they were mainly three player games.

I saw them with zero orders(!!) and was so tempted to order 1841: North Italy but decided not to, as I dont play 18xx in real life.

My list has also grown shorter…

  • Obsession Characters expansion: is on its way, I got mail notification!
  • Clank! Legacy 2 should be soonish, ships have arrived afaik
  • Planet Unknown: The Lid where is it? Should be here but is not.
  • Innovation Ultimate … kind of had expected this to drop around SPIEL… but they are only just starting production. Slooooow.
  • Cyclades Legendary … whenever probably not this year though I am sure they originally said 2024
  • Hispania expects to begin delivering this year which is a very short turn-around if not early next year

  • 20 Strong the Fairy Tale decks (I don’t have any of the original ones)

Nope. Just saw lots of coverage when the first edition came out and got FOMO. My husband and I love co-op campaigns so it should be in our wheelhouse. I’m a little worried we have too many of those in half-played states now, but we’ll see.
