out of sheer curiosity… is there room to squeeze another system attached to either Argo or Goralis? maybe space lane length 3?
what about from Janus VI (rotating the same a bit)?

Janus pushed down could connect via 2 or 3 to Deneb, no room for a new system.

I’ve rearranged the Projects so that it’s clearer how much Research is on each of them (each stack of counters is associated with the project to its left) - I find it hard to parse dark blue Research on dark blue Federation projects.
