- start new advancement: Long Range Listening Posts
2&3) one ship alread in Vulcan goes to warp heading SSW, trying to link up with Mazar
4&5) the Science Halitra explores to the South-East, if a gap can be found.

Question: are the Vulcans not bound by the rule about the maximum number of incomplete research projects being no more than the number of research nodes they control [14.1.1]? They appear to have three projects on the go whilst only having two research nodes.
Ooh, good point – I think I was counting the node at Straleb Madena as theirs. There’s no research on Long Range Listening Posts, so I’ll cancel it. @Canadian_Errant
