I’ll be building nodes on my turn, I don’t currently have any, so don’t worry too much.

It’s a fair consideration - I’ll make it end of round, so this is the last guaranteed Borg-free round.

Makes sense.

Borg senses civilisation of sufficient technological advance, fires up the cubes and heads this way.

Okay, in that case I’ll try and get a lot of exploring done this turn.

Romulan Build Phase

Upgrade shields to level 1 (-6 research).
Build 4 ships at Romulus (-4 production), forming 3 of them into Science Fleet #1.

Romulan Command Phase

Commands 1&2: one ship at Romulus enters warp and explores west.

Nice. Swing that one up and then commands 3&4 are to send the other lone ship at Romulus exploring south-west.

Card 4: Klingon (@Lordof1)

Build phase: colony, culture node and production node on Valakis VI - total cost of 1 ship, 3 production and 3 culture.

Research upgraded weapons (4 research).

Use Militarized Industry for new ships at Kronos and Valakis VI.

Command phase: 1 - build starbase at Kronos
2 - research nebula
3 - research temporal anomaly
4, 5 - warp in and out from Valakis VI to explore to the west.

  • C2 ship at Paulson Nebula Braves the Hazard, destroyed on 6: d6: 4
  • C3 ship at Temporal Anomaly Braves the Hazard, destroyed on 4+: d6: 6

(Assuming the Research from Paulson went to Combat Transporters, but if you’d rather have it in your pool just say so.)

  • C4 there is no ship at Valakis, because the colonists have just disassembled it. And you have no warp bonuses yet.

I do have a ship because I just built one with militarized industry (see build phase). I should have new ships at each culture node.

Aha! And I was going to say “please mention this to remind me”, but you did.

System: Trill (PC-5) (Take 1 Culture when Discovered.)
Exploration: Scorching Skies ((persists) +2 Research to Colonise, not for Vulcans or Andorians.)

Okay, I’ll grab that culture but I think otherwise I’m out of commands.
