One command remains.
Last ship at homeworld goes into warp.
Card 4: Vulcan (@Canadian_Errant)
Build Phase:
- Build 3 Ships and form a Consul Halitra.
Command Phase:
C1: Start research project Communication Network
C2 & C3: The Halitra goes to warp and exits warp Northwards, exploring
@RogerBW asked for a die roll:
Space lane: d3+1: 3
System: Coridan III (PR-4)
Exploration: Warp-Capable: Level Three
C4: Can Vulcans attempt Hegemony? if so, I attempt Hegemony
@RogerBW asked for a die roll:
Yes; the constraint is that you “may not Invade or attempt Hegemony against any Systems controlled by a Rival with lower Ascendancy”. (XII.3.1.)
You get your Ascendancy (3) plus a d6 = d6+3: 6
You need to exceed their civilisation level (3) plus number of nodes (2) = 5.
One command remains.
Excellent. Then for my final command, I place an Ambassador on Coridan III (I don’t know if this is a waste of a command or not, but I’ll move it later if I need to)
Card 5: Romulan (@Assussanni)
Well then. The Borg are only one node away now.
Romulan Commands 1&2: ship explores from Romulus at warp.
@RogerBW asked for a die roll:
Space lane: d3+1: 3
System: Goralis (H5 PRR-5)
Ship is lost on 5+: d6: 1
@RogerBW asked for a die roll:
Exploration: The Wrath of Olympus (H4. If any Ships survive, you may build a Colony here free.)
Ship is lost on 4+: d6: 4
Commands 3&4: ship at Romulus explores at warp (anti-clockwise relative to Goralis, if it matters).
@RogerBW asked for a die roll:
Space lane: d3+1: 3
System: Neutron Star (H3 Phenomenon-3)
Ship is lost on 3+: d6: 1
One command left.
(which got you a Research token)
I’ve been rereading the Vulcan rules- did I need to use a command to place the Ambassador using the fleet? (I mean, it doesn’t matter now, I didn’t have an extra thing I wanted to do. Just wondering for next time)
