Take the hit on Fleet 3. If I get a free impulse move after the battle then Battle Group 2 moves to Indri VIII while Fleet 3 moves back towards Capella.

Yeah, it’s fine if you meet them at this point in your development.

Not so fine if you meet them on round 2 with one of your early exploration cards.

There’s a good compromise earliest-appearance time but I don’t yet know what it is.
