Selling/ Buying/ Trading Games

Last chance to buy Champion of the Wild, I guess:

From the latest (and last, presumably) Kickstarter update:

1 - Champion of the Wild is available dirt cheap!

Just go to the game page on our website (championofthewild.com) and at the checkout page type in BMODSARETHEFUTURE to the discount code box to get 50% off the already-discounted price of £19.99 ($26). More about what B-mods are under the next headline…

You’ll still need to pay shipping from our UK warehouse (£3.50 to the UK, $20 to the US, 18 to the EU, 37 AUD to Australia/NZ), but surely there’s someone in your life who needs a little more whale-jousting in their life this Christmas?

Last posting dates for delivery by Christmas are December 12th (UK), December 5th (EU), November 28th (USA, Canada, the rest of the world) so get moving if you want one!

I’m sad to say there won’t be any further print runs or expansions for CotW so this is the end of the track once all the copies are sold.

Last time I bought a game for £10 it was Terminator Dark Fate. (Just found someone who wanted it for rather less, shipped out today.)

I can confirm that champions of the wild is mediocre and was hard to sell on.

I feels like you can do it without the need for cards.

Although like Monikers/Celebrity a nicely produced thing is certainly nicer

Oh, nice. I was never willing to pay the shipping for COTW, but if they’re dropping the game price that much, maybe I’ll have a punt. The game concept always tickled me, and I think it’d go down well at the office at Friday drinks.

That’s probably the right place for it

Probably not of interest to most people here, but might suit a family gathering or a pub. Richard Osman’s House of Games: The Card Game, for the cost of postage.

Sure. Why not? PayPal?

Does anyone want a copy of Fliptoons? Lalunaverde who won the competition does not want it so I thought I’d offer it up here!

it’s a good game (played 3 times!) I just ordered it twice.

Anyone ever bought from Wayland Games in the UK? I never have, and am always wary of using sellers I know nothing about!

Yes, I have used Wayland a few times. No issues to report. They did have a bit of a bad rep with delayed delivery times a few years ago (mainly due to stock management issues), but that has improved significantly.

I’ve got my Hot Streak pre-order with them and their estimated date has been the same as other UK retailers when it moved for everybody. (And at least they give a new precise date, some stores don’t). Haven’t used them before though.

That’s pretty much my experience too. A bit shonky when stock is hard to find, but if they actually have the thing you should be fine.

Waylaid games seems an accurate moniker.

Use them all the time. No issues at all.

I’ve been using them for warcrow preorders and they’ve all been on time or early.
