Rush 'n' Crush (recruitment)

Anyone fancy trying this armed racing game, which has a bit in common with Snow Tails? Up to six players, no hidden information, and I can set up tracks and car record sheets.

Never heard of it, but I am happy to give it a go.

Time zones shouldn’t matter much, because I don’t think there’s anything that happens in a player’s turn that needs input from other players.

You know the famous “You had me at hello?”

This is the first sentence on the BGG description of the game: First the players choose a driver from among six armed and dangerous psychopaths.

Happy to give it a go if space available

I’d be willing to try.

Count me in. I’ll read up tonight. Racing and boom? Hullo.

Splendid! I’ll set up a course.

The rulebook is not the best (I say this a lot). Here’s my working draft replacement.

I’d say they make you say that a lot… Better manuals would be the best way for you to stop

@RogerBW I’m sorry man, woke up to a very sick little girl this morning and she’s keeping me busier than usual. Might be best to bow out before we get rolling.

Ouch, best wishes. Anyone else want to drop in?

I would be happy to step in as a substitute driver. I’d also be completely fine with handing over the controls part way through the race if @VictorViper is able to return.

I’ll just need a little time to familiarise myself with the rules, but I’m happy to learn as we go.

I’m interested to see this play out. I really like the games and it’ll be interesting to see the styles you all go for in the race and what is made of the experience.

Will definitely be keen to talk tactics after too.

I wrote this for me… percentage change of getting X or more lane changes when rolling Y dice.

I was going to do something similar at the end, to see how the odds stacked up against my gut feeling.

I’m surprised the probability is as high as it is for 2+ and 3+ down at the bottom of that table. My instinct was that 2+ would be well below 50% once you got to roll 4 take the lowest, and 3+ much more unlikely than 1 in 5.
