Poorly Described Plots (seven words or fewer)

Me neither…

Man famously cheats, lies, temporarily loses friend.

I know it’s not right, but I want to say The Princess Bride. Just because.

I think it might have flown under the radar, being released in theaters during the height of COVID (I watched it at home on HBO, for what it’s worth), and that’s a real shame. It’s by no means a perfect movie, but it is interesting, thought-provoking, and uncomfortable in a way that very few films are. I would strongly recommend it if you’re in the mood for a film simmering with societal contempt.

Not a bad guess. Certainly shares some themes.

The Adventures of Baron Munchausen?

A baron? No? But they do have an esteemed Job title.

Captain America: The First Avenger? I guess the “famously” part is a bit of a stretch.

Not that. The Cheater does not believe that they cheated, and the lies were within the regulations.

Also. The hero and the villain never meet in the film.

Khaaaaaaaaaaan!.

Persistent stalker, police unhelpful.

Halloween?

No but you’re vaguely in the right direction.

It follows?

Less outright horror than these two.

The cable guy?
