Actually, my dad‘s cat when I put out food for her she waits until I leave to begin eating. She eats treats when I am there but not her actual food. It‘s weird. But yes she often just needs an audience.
We‘ve had lots of people over in the last 2 weeks and she just likes hanging out where the people are. Unless there are toddlers…

The face of a dog who is very happy a human made it home a whole 10 minutes before 5pm dinner time (6 hours later than planned).
I’ve never trusted that those sucker pads will reliably cope with 6kg of tabby landing on them, so I’ve never put anything like that up at our place. That looks great, though!
I am a little bit concerned that there will be a crash plus panicked cat noises in my future…
Not my pet (sadly). I sponsor a pen at a cat shelter, and it has a webcam. It is currently full of kittens doing kitten things.
