[PbP] - Brass Lancashire: Discussion

It’s a nice mechanic how turn order is decided. Going last in the previous turn was a pain, but I was able to switch my building order to make sure I was early this turn.

I haven’t got a clue what the final scores are going to be. It’s all there if you want to track it but I don’t have the mental bandwidth to work it out

I was not aware that you could do this (building both sides of a market like Yorkshire or the Midlands). Good to know for other games.

Is that the markets completely out of resource then?

You can still buy when they’re empty. IIRC they’re £5

It would cost me 5 a pop, plus 5 for the rail, I only have 6 pounds left after that shipyard is built.

It’s also the time when you can overbuild another player’s industry tile.

I forgot about that rule. Remember thinking when I read it. Well that won’t happen.

@Benkyo I’m struggling a bit with the iron sale price.

Just trying to figure out current resource levels and expected £4x2 +£3x2 = £14 but realised I may be making an error

And at that I think we are out of cards.

Regardless of how awful I’ve played thanks @Whistle_Pig for arranging the game & thanks @Benkyo, @Captbnut and @Chewy77 for putting up with my blundering through.

I think iron is £2 on your turn, after I put 5 iron back.

Cool that explains the maths too. I thought it was a level 2 iron you were building from your board.

Damn that means I have £1 unused.

Oh, it is! Means my move is wrong. Not a significant change though, phew.

I’ll do a board update and scoring later this evening, although I think you’ve already worked out who won!

I’m curious to know how badly it went. I feel like it was pretty bad.

Hey, seems like we all finally got validated for orderofthehammer! Do we have 4 people to start a game?
