Think I’m ok. Time will tell.
It totally changed my turn, but luckily enough your warning came before I made it!
I’m going to hang fire for my turn till a map update as I think I’m boxed in again.
“Not getting boxed in” is a such a huge part of the game, especially as your hand size dwindles. Feels quite unlike other economic/efficiency games I’ve played.
You still get new cards this turn (the turn where you took the double loan). I’ll PM you what you drew and you can tell me whether you want to change anything about the turn you just posted.
Oh, now I feel stupid. So, the last turn of loans is not the last turn for new cards?
The last turn in which you may take a loan is also the last turn in which you draw new cards - that being the turn where you took two loans.
In subsequent rounds there are no loans and no new card.
Right, that’s what I meant. The new cards in this format seem to come the turn after, rather than being something you draw during your turn. Just me confusing myself and thinking the game had one fewer turn left than it does.
My rail is Liverpool to Southport, not Wigan to Southport.
I will wait for my last two cards this time, they could be key to my next moves
I don’t think we’re getting any more.
We are definitely not getting any more.
I didn’t get any cards when @Benkyo and me jumped to the next turn, I thought we were supposed to get two then
Oh, I got cards for my double loan action, but we aren’t getting cards for the double rail or your move that went:
Use Rochdale to build Iron Works there (paying 8 pounds between building and coal, correct me if I am wrong) and adding 4 iron to it. Discard a shipyard card to use 2 of those iron blocks to upgrade the locked shipyards on my play table.
Quick question, have you got 4 or 6 cards left? I have 4
That’s what I thought, after loans out there are still two cards to pick
