[PbP] - Brass Lancashire: Discussion

Is @Chewy77 waiting for the board update?

Time zone. He’s in New Zealand

Just asking, because he just posted a question 9 hours ago, after Geebizzle’s move.

He also asked me a question via PM, so he was probably waiting for me to answer that.

Yep, sorry. About to make my move.

Is this possible? @Chewy77 does not have a network to Manchester, so surely he cannot use a Cotton Mill card to build there?

I thought you could use other people’s canals

Not for industry cards. The location must be linked by your network for that.

You have options: double-action, build canals.

@Chewy77 I will PM you, since I know what your cards are!

I don’t think this affects @Captbnut’s turn.

(That’ll teach me not to try and check this PBF on my phone )

@Whistle_Pig I think you are doing income reductions for loans incorrectly. Each point of loan takes income to the high point of the next colour band, not a simple -1. This leaves Captbnut and myself worse off. I’m at -1, Captbnut is at 0.

@GeeBizzle there is no red coal left! You can take from Oldham or Warrington.

Thanks. I’ve changed the text in my post, but not the map (I’ll update that in the morning). It’s worth checking what I’ve done though because it’s getting rather late!

Thanks I must have looked at an old map where you had one left in manchester.

Sorry to nag, still got captbnut and my income on the wrong spots.

No need to apologise! I think they’re all correct now.

I think my canal to Lancaster is missing from the map as well…

You need to be on your network for an industry card, but you don’t need to be for a location card.

The main barrier to building with location cards is sourcing coal.

Thanks.

That makes sense.

I’ll add it in later today. Remind me again if I forget…

Need to flip a distant market tile to continue my turn.

I think I should be on +1 income? Started at -7, flipped two cotton for +6, and the first distant market was +2.
