I theorised that Sector 11 contains a Comet. And it does!

Remarkably (or not), my theory was ALSO a comet!

I tried to locate Planet X as well, but was wrong. Probably the same incorrect 50/50 shot. For fun, I put in the other option afterward and was correct. Should have just gone with the safe bet of a theory. Oh well.

I think I got 22 points if I added it up correctly:
I was very lucky with the two surveys I carried out.
Pretty sure I am at 10 points. Would have been 15 if I had made a theory instead.
My sector 5 theory was the first correct one: 1
My theory about a gas cloud (in sector 5) was correct: 4 points
I located planet X from 5 sectors back: 10 points
=15 I think?
If your unrevealed theory about Sector 1 was correct then you would score points for it too (I believe including the 1 point bonus for being first).
That was also a gas cloud, which is not correct.
Huh, I thought that was the Dwarf Planet. I didn’t reveal everything in the app yet.
This all ended a bit suddenly. Can we now talk about it in a spoilery way?
It definitely ended quicker than I expected! I don’t see any reason not to talk about it.
It’s a truism of game design, and I suppose entertainment in general, that you should always try to end too early (while the audience is still wanting more) rather than too late (when it’s got bored). That said, I agree that this was a very abrupt ending – I’d just about thought “OK, this is starting to make sense” when Assussanni triggered the endgame.
I did sometimes find it hard to keep track of who was where and I should probably have made my own full board with location trackers and things – which obviously wouldn’t be a problem face to face.
Being me I’m interested in rebuilding the app as a non-technical system to be run by a referee. I can see how to do the actual placements. Does anyone know the constraints for starting information and research topics?
