sorry for the incomplete graphics but I’m at the office at work. But do you see where my completed sword is located? you do a cross reference between columns and rows of that sword BEFORE lifting it. It came from the lacquer row, and the bottom of the B column show 2 coins along with my card that I added there (prior) for the other two coins. You always want to get those things prior to removing the sword tile from your forge area. I’ll post updated graphics soon as I’m able to.
also, I think the rulebook shows you examples as well.
You will also notice, when I completed my sword, I took 2 resources from the supply (as defined by my sword) to be used in planning my Shoguns Sword. It was a wood and a Lacquer.
You can take up to two resources. You cannot start the Shoguns sword until you have at least one of each type of resource.
Also, at the end of the round. The person who has the “metal katana” has to choose to score 4 points or add 1 resource to the shoguns project. I chose the one sharkskin resource.
Please put a worker at the palace. I will place a family member on the Lacquer space. I will collect my rewards (get paid 2 money and pay 2 money for Lacquer, effectively getting Lacquer for free).
