Use a worker to take contract I
@Delwayne asked for a die roll:
4d64: 35 + 13 + 34 + 27 = 109
Hire a Monk (¥5). Place him in the market. Buy 3 leather (¥9) and 4 wood (¥4). (Total cost ¥18).
I will take card A.
My turn is not done yet. I would like to see the next card before deciding on my 2nd card.

3d28: 6 + 21 + 23 = 50

@Malusdei
I’m at work and don’t have the card graphics file on me. But you’ll want the card. It is card 6, the one that lets you buy a monk at 3 coins less.
I’m going to roll for the next card as well and then I’ll take my turn later.
3d28: 22 + 15 + 12 = 49
That was Solomon’s turn. Did you also want to use a card while you are at the market? Now would be a good time?
it will also be my turn now.
I will hire the monk and work my forge. He will be at Column B. I will activate the middle sword first. And then I will use my free monk ability to work the sword at 3 to go up. And then I will activate both swords for their usual forge which can be done with a swap. This is what my forge now looks like.
reminder.
@shiberson needs to choose an honor card.
@Malusdei needs to decide if he will use his market card (gain stone). (and then if he will use the permanent side as well)
Ok.
Bit complicated
Buy a monk and send to Academy.
Advance wood decorator twice.
Activate one off power to move a decorator. Move wood decorator again.
Pay 2 coin to activate permanent ability putting steel at the end of row 3 at the forge.
Claim the expansion bonus for advancing to the end of the decorator track.
Immediately use this to collect the three wood card from the 4 houses and activate its one off ability. I am not activating its permanent ability.
Decorate the 1 lacquer, 1 wood and 1 steel I have on swords gaining 5 coin.
Everyone else can decorate one resource already on a sword
@Delwayne asked for a die roll:
4d64: 11 + 61 + 16 + 8 = 96
Okay, very nicely done. However, you won’t be activating the card for the 3 wood because you have to have been at the market. Everything else is correct and everyone else got their polish and coin. I went with the Lacquer.
next up is @Malusdei (but first decide about that market card!)
Fascinating on the market card. Duly noted
No, no card this turn. I am ready to end my turn and look at Honor Cards.
@Malusdei
okay, you can scroll up to view the honor cards.
@shiberson needs to choose his one first.
I’m assuming I get no choice?
after you pass.
everyone will get one.
(I think you’ll pass before me. Yes, the last person gets no choice)
pictures forthcoming. But to give you an idea of what I will be doing for my turn:
I will be using one one of my cards (rearranging family at castle). I will not be using that immediate effect, but I will pay one coin for the permanent side. And put it under column B. I will then turn in a sword. Before lifting it off the board (as I tell all my players!), I get my rewards which will be 4 coins and one lacquer. I will place it on my completed side. This accomplishment pleases the Shogun and he bestows upon me this gift which releases a worker of mine.

For the sword I completed I will be getting 5+4 victory points. To continue with my regular turn (be aware, I could have turned that sword in at any time) I will use my new worker to visit the Academy and promote the stingray polisher. All my polishers will get to work, and thus I will gain 2 coins. Everyone else could have used a polisher, but you all don’t have swords needing polishing ![]()
that would end my turn and it would go to @RossM
Can you explain where the 4 coin and one lacquer come from
