It’s that time of year (of which there are several) where I get called a grump if I talk about my indifference to the current festivities.

It’s a whole family affair. With lots of other friends and their children attending.
I’m there for that, a large social gatherings like that with all our kids being between -1 - 12 years are a rare occurrence. My exit strategy is my 8 year old son wont cope the whole night, so I’ll take him home when he’s done most likely before the actual songs start.

Though the techbro didn’t commission the stupidly phallic yacht; he bought it used and renamed it. (He doesn’t appear to be a LessWronger, just a profiteer.)
And it was at anchor off Porticello. Dragging it, at that. Not yet clear why it didn’t swing into the wind.

my daughter came home from school, and got herself a snack: ham, cheese, bread. Eaten separately because sandwiches are horrible and disgusting.
