Is it just me or does the home page (“Categories”) no longer show which posts you’ve visited?
The “Latest” page does seem to?
Firefox, PC. Maybe it never did?

I always use the latest page so I wouldn’t know. Sorry.
Ditto. So that I can try to track it down, could you lay it out in excessive detail - what you click on, what you expect to see, what you do see, or some similar format?
e.g. is it that when you load the categories page you expect visited posts to be greyed out, and they aren’t? Or am I missing something else too?
I could have sworn that when you clicked on a post in the “Categories” view that the colour of the link text changed to show you’d visited the page, as it does on the “Latest” view.
Did the colours of the link text change in the most recent update, it might just be that throwing me off?
OK, I think we’re talking about the same thing. Nothing obvious on the discourse discussion board, but I’ll see what I can find.
Here’s a screenshot of how it used to look.
If it helps ( drawn in as it is my picture), I noticed this change too in the past few days. iPad, safari, now just shows everything the same with no greyed categories which I have visited
Recognised bug, to be fixed: Categories doesn't distinguish read/unread topics in 3.5.09.beta9-dev - Bug - Discourse Meta
This now appears to be fixed.
