Letters from Whitechapel

So. Where was the murder?

Whitechapel

Circle 132 in game terms; on Turner Street, between Varden Street and Nelson Street in real-world London terms.

The real question is… where is the murderer?

Jack has moved. @Lordof1 first, police may move.

The larger red circle in the east, 132. Happy to take suggestions for making that easier to distinguish from the starting red circles.

I’ll move over between 102 and 69. Investigate both starting with 102.

All the moves happen first, then all the investigations.

@Assussanni to move.

Just to reaffirm my memory of the rules, once the police start investigating spaces, they get to pick one around their pieces only until they find a clue, or there are no clues to be found, right? So each piece can only find one location in a turn?

Correct. Some optional rules give them a one-off ability to do better, but the core rules say “investigate one at a time, stop when you find a clue”.

Move East two spaces, investigate: 131 → 146.

@RossM, you should probably go check on that potential victim who was at space 20! :stuck_out_tongue:

Everybody moves, then everybody investigates.

@RossM to move next.

(Corrected move track to show that Jack’s taken one move.)

Ah, got it. Sorry, I missed that the first time you said it.

I feel this advice is not entirely helpful.

So. He’s in one of the circles directly linked to 132?

Yes. A special move would have been announced.

And just so everyone is clear, I cannot stay in place, I have to move. Though I can backtrack.

Move two spaces to below 58. Search it and then other spaces.

Everybody moves, then everybody investigates.

@Whistle_Pig to move.

Move to the space between 53 and 67 please
