Jack makes a normal move.
Jack has reached his hideout!
I’ll do the next phase in the morning.
So to confirm.
After the coach move Jack made a total of 3 normal moves
That is correct.
Round 2
Lead investigator for this round will be InkyBloc.
This round Jack will have 2 Coach and 2 Alley moves.
@COMaestro, please let me know by PM which fixed red circles you’re placing the Unfortunates on (4 potential victims, 3 dummies which will be removed after police placement).
The crime scene at 132 remains on the map; its only effect is that the Unfortunates cannot move into it.
Then InkyBloc will place the Police tokens. As before, that’ll be the five investigators plus two dummy patrols. Five of these seven tokens must be placed in the police positions from the end of night 1, i.e. 125E, 171W, 129S, 31W and 99W—I’ve highlighted these with dark blue squares. The other two must be placed on yellow-bordered crossings.
You can discuss this but the detail of which investigator is going in which spot is private.
Just FYI, the dark blue is almost indistinguishable from black on the monitor I am using. It still helps, because the squares appear bigger, but I think a paler blue or cyan might be better to make them really stand out.
Fair point, I create these fairly close up and don’t always look at them at a distance. Here’s an alternative view.
Police placed.
Decoy Unfortunates removed.
Now the pre-hunt phase, a loop of:
- Jack decides whether to strike now or wait. If he strikes, exit this loop and go to the main hunt phase.
- Jack moves one step left on the track
- Lead Investigator moves each Unfortunate one circle (not across or next to a Police token, not onto a crime scene [132]).
- Jack reveals one Police token (remove a dummy, an investigator remains in place)
When Jack does strike, one nominated Unfortunate is killed, the others are removed, and we start the main hunt with Jack’s first move.
So are the circled ones the nominated Unfortunates?
Yes, one of those four will be tonight’s victim.
Jack will wait.
