I got my son the Dungeons and Dragons Lego for Christmas. We started doing it together but he loves it so much that he wants to run the adventure for me so I am now banned because he doesn’t want me to see any spoilers

The trouble D&D Lego is that everything could be a mimic!
A good number of things in the set are mimics!

My son ran me through part 1 and it definitely caught me out! He says it’s the best present he’s ever got, which is a bit of a worry for future Christmasses! Mind you, he’s getting older so it’ll be all drugs and hookers from here.
You mean, “Sorry son, I spent all your Christmas money on drugs and hookers”?
Mind you, at our age “drugs and hookers” is more likely to mean spending the cash on painkillers and watching the rugby.
