Honestly at this point I think we’re all struggling a bit (except RossM the machine of course). Would it be reasonable to put the game on hold?
I’m happy to call it at this point.
We’ve got several missions well on the way to completion with several players, but if we’re all running on fumes at this point we can just stop.
I think this game as a PBF suffers from lots of context—i.e. when your turn comes round, there’s a lot to pick up again about what you were doing and planning, and notes only go so far. (I first noticed this playing Keyflower on BGA—whereas a game like Rallyman GT lets you log in, solve that turn’s puzzle, and forget it all again.)
I admit that I am also a bit overwhelmed with this instance of the game as PbF. I think part of it has to do with me not having played in a while and with all the expansions… it is way more stuff to consider.
I would also like to add that with this solar system being very inhospitable and lots of easier missions being canceled therefore… the remaining ones are beyond my current space race skills.
I am happy to let the missions that are on the way „finish“ (by way of extrapolating) and call the game.
I wonder if it would be easier if we „shared“ the TTS file—assuming everyone has TTS available to them—so everyone can look at the game state. We all trust Roger not to look at the secret information this game has…
