Is that basically just a more advanced version of this?

In my opinion, Battlecars >> Dark Future >> Car Wars - at least from the 80s/90s when I was playing them.
Dark Future is the only one I played. I traded it for BloodBowl and tbh, I definitely got the better of the deal!
Having never played either, I cannot say.
I like the look of new Car Wars; car design is has moved from âhours with a spreadsheetâ to âconstruct a deck out of component cardsâ. Alas, the game is designed for American-sized houses.
Thatâs what floors are for!
Blood Bowl was another mess of a mash-up for me and our group: weâd rather have just played Statis Pro Football if we wanted the strategy and tactics of American Football - or Warhammer if we wanted a scrap between fantasy armies.
Blood Bowl before the edition with turnover rules was awful - and that was the only edition I knew at the time. The game it became is pretty good.
It was the 2nd edition that I got - not sure when the turnover rules came in but pretty sure it was that issue.
Edit: it wasnât, it was 3rd edition that had the turnover rule. Maybe I had the 3rd edition then?
I have third edition, and it definitely has the turnover rules.
I love the art on the 1st Edition.
I payed FLGS a visit today and paid my taxesâŚ. will post some images of Nucleum tomorrow. ![]()

Bought Kingdom Builder in my quest for âunder one hour, works with twoâ games.
Youngest wants to play more games, and most games I have are terrible with two
Top tip: Remove the Lord scoring card
Thanks to @lalunaverde I will now be able to play Nokosu Dice ![]()
Itâs a French copy of Paradeâthe German version is ugly uglyâand a dice set.
This looks like the American version too. I made my parents-in-law get it for me for Christmas once because they have easy access and the German version is a joke made by some intern in the early 90s.
That reminds me - I need to buy another copy of this. Left mine in Italy last year! ![]()
I still love Parade but now I have Piepmatz which does similar things but IMO better.
I would have loved to use Arboretum as proxy but it doesnt have zeroes. ![]()
