How do you see that working?

I’ll vote and you let my cadet boy girl tag along with your kerfuffle in Madras?

I’d get behind that.

Still need three other votes.

Happy to buy votes for 2 coin each

(looks like you’d need 2 other votes to me?)

Oh yeah. Two more votes.

4 bucks available for two votes

Instant disqualification for referring to them as “bucks”.

Fine.

4 promissory notes countersigned by Humphry Morice himself as the governor of the Bank of England, and a fine fellow if ever I was a good judge of character.

Historical note.

Spoilers, he wasn’t

I would accept 4 pounds for my two votes

The I accept all the votes offered on the terms above

The new Chairman is voted in.

Next up is the President of Bombay, to be chosen by the Director of Trade @COMaestro from among the writers associated with the Presidency of Bombay. Reminder that in order to choose a writer from your own family, you would need consent from @Whistle_Pig, otherwise the Benyon family member must be chosen.

Eh, those two are bumblers. Better let the Benyon have it.

The position of the President of Bombay is filled.

Finally, the Governor of Madras. To be picked by the President of Madras @Whistle_Pig from the 3 potential writers, so this will go to either Hastings @RossM or Sykes @lalunaverde .

Don’t mind either way

Hastings can have this one

Over to the Chairman for debt management and allocation of funds. @RossM
Of course, if anyone who uses money actually wants to be able to do anything this turn, now is the time to petition for funds.

I look forward to your suggestions

If we do want to open trade with China, the Director of Trade will require at least 3, if not 4, pounds in order to get the process going.

Similarly, Bengal is currently incredibly restricted in its available trade opportunities. Something must be done about that.

It also appears trouble is headed to Bombay, so we may wish to prepare to defend there. Or is that only a concern if the company has taken over?

I have thoughts but basically I want to give the three presidents enough money to trade. That might involve a lot of moving stuff around. Just working it out now

I’d support pushing trade in Bengal.
