Identify the movie!

Is that The King’s Speech?

It’s not. In fact, none of the actors I referenced are in that (which I was actually surprised by).

I only know one of the actors for certain (I think), and can guess one of the others, but I do not know anything they are in together off the top of my head, so I am out on this one methinks.

Now I can only think of Stellan Skarsgard and Jared Harris as first and last so maybe Chernobyl??

Right series, wrong character.

I will give the clue that the other three are TV show versions of the characters.

First would be Bill Nighy, not Stellan Skarsgaard.

Was it? I thought it was Skarsgard, is not unlike him…

I think Skarsgaard was “Bootstrap” Bill Turner.

I think it’s time to give the answer, as no one has come up with it. Feel free to post another as well.

Answer: Bill Nighy, Dominic West, Imelda Staunton, and Andrew Scott in Pride

New one (hopefully easier this time):

Hawkeye, Ghost Rider, Sabretooth, and Apocalypse.

I have no idea what the new movie is, but that’s a very exciting list of actors!

I guessed the final three actors correctly, the Hawkeye clue was tricksy

Worked out Hawkeye from the only film that Ghost Rider and Sabretooth are in together, that I’m aware of! Not sure who Apocalypse is tho?

Oh God, I feel stupid now.

I know it has to be one of two films, but I don’t remember if there were any lines spoken by one of the actors in either film.

So guessing the first, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse?

Hawkeye was throwing me until realization slapped me in the face. I don’t remember if Oscar Issac actually spoke in this one. Or if Liev Schreiber speaks in the sequel.

Correct! Liev Schreiber isn’t in the sequel, but Oscar Isaac is in the post-credits sequence of the first film.

Between the two films, there are a lot of actors who’ve played other Marvel roles.

Oh dude, that’s just harsh!!

Just went to check how long that part is and discovered that the UK Netflix version of the film currently has German text. Audio and subtitles are in English, but the text within the film is German

(Pic nabbed from Twitter as Netflix doesn’t let you screenshot.)

I realized I didn’t post a new one.

So, what movie did I watch if I saw one with Dusty Bottoms, Garth’s Dream Woman, Yoda, and Louis Winthorpe III?

I think I’m wrong but… Trading Places? Based on the last two at least.

I know this one! Yoda’s in lots of Landis movies, but Dusty Bottoms + Winthorpe means Spies like us!

(Also, Garth’s Dream woman was married to Dan Ackroyd the whole time).
