Just finished another Carson City in which I poked my head out too far, ran out of steam, and finished in the middle again.
I’ll concur that the dice hate @COMaestro .
I’m up for more games with anyone who is interested! I think a lot will balance out as we copy/contest the winning strategies and all calibrate on when and where to make our big bets.

@Acacia You set the Par price - say 90 as an example. Then that’s the IPO price NOT the share price. You then pay the IPO price twice becuase you’re buying the President’s share which is 2 shares in one paper.
You get x10 of the Par price as starting treasury when you float it. In this example, 900. The company floats after buying 5 out of 10 shares.
Par price determines the initial starting money of a company. Share price is the dynamic one that goes up or down. You can buy shares from IPO or market (at share price) if both are available. Usually people buy from IPO, which is then valued at market price upon purchase, because it’s free money.
Your bids on the initial auction is different.
