Oh success! Sadly the thief escapes but Dudley catches hold of a railing while falling from the rooftop which breaks his fall to the ground. He loses 1 Wound leaving him with 3 now, but gains another 3 Glory, giving him 16.
Now, Dudley can use the Ciity although doesn’t draw another City card. First, he sells the Temple Treasure for 4 Fortune being at a Major City. This gives the Heroes a whopping 26 Fortune (including Zhukov’s escape from the quicksand and Cartwright’s sale earlier) leaving them only 4 to gain to win!
Next he heals his 2 Wounds for 2 Glory (leaving him 14 Glory), taking him back to his maximum of 5 Wounds.
Then he spends 5 Glory on an Allies card (leaving him 9) and draws …

No - Axis Soldiers with a major Villain are bodyguards, so unlike Soldiers on their own, they do not impede a Hero’s movement, so you can get to Greece as you wished.
Ah, what the heck, let’s join the International Brigades and get into Civil War torn Spain…
(when it comes to Zhukov’s turn) If I can play “If I Could Just Reach” before the cliffhanger resolution that will certainly help a lot.
