Breakaway Step 1
Please choose one of your riders, look at their hand, and choose one card to bid for the breakaway (those yellow spaces five ahead of the starting line). You’ll see everyone else’s cards, then get a new hand for that rider to bid a second card from. Top two totals go forward to those spaces and replace the cards with exhaustion; everyone else gets their cards back.
In the other FR game on Discourse, everyone’s showing their card plays with “Hide Details” – cogwheel icon in the editor, then you can put the hidden thing where it won’t be seen accidentally. That seems to work fairly well.
