Firefly PBF game 1

Maybe, and just maybe, this is the reason why it has not gone that well for you so far…? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

So the Miner’s job goes onto what discard pile? Amnon Duul’s or Space Bazaar’s?
I will buy from Space Bazaar the Security Interface Pad and the Breaching Tool half price (Marco’s specialty) and depending on where it ends, the Dragon’s Egg job. If it counts as a deal, then I will have to spend more time in this “safe haven” and do the work bit on my next turn (sigh)

Miner transport: Dragon’s Egg [Legal Transport from Space Bazaar, Red Sun (PA, no limit) to Dragon’s Egg, Blue Sun (PA, no limit)] [$200/P, Medic +400] [Needs :gun::gun::gun:] (AD)

is now on Amnon Duul’s discard pile, so that is indeed a Deal. Done that and the Buy.

Buy the Fruit Oaty Bar again, plus the Xunsu Whisper X1. Full burn towards Deadwood please.

Turn 14.2 Mal and Serenity Scribbs

② Full burn, one fuel used.

  1. Failure to Communicate [Option 1: Keep Flyin’, Cowboy…: Requires Soldier: --Keep Flying.] [Option 2: Make Like Civil Folk: Talk 7 1-6 [Fight 8 1-7 Kill a Crew. Discard 2 Goods. Full Stop. 8+ Evade.] 7+ Keep Flying.] (Malcolm is a Soldier.)
  2. The Big Black [Keep Flying!]

Turn 14.3 Murphy and Yun Qi COMaestro

① Full burn, one fuel used.

  1. Passenger Unrest [Option 1: Keep it Quiet Down There!: Requires Soldier: --Keep Flying.] [Option 2: Fisticuffs in the Hold!: --Roll a Dice: If your roll is lower than the total of Passenger and Fugitive Tokens on your ship, discard a number equal to your roll. --Keep Flying.] (no passengers)
  2. The Big Black [Keep Flying!]
  3. Persistent Pursuit [–Player to your right must move Operative’s Corvette 1 or 2 Sectors within Alliance, Border or Rim Space. --Keep Flying.] (@Scribbs)
  4. Persistent Pursuit [–Player to your right must move Operative’s Corvette 1 or 2 Sectors within Alliance, Border or Rim Space. --Keep Flying.] (and again)

② Buy at Persephone:

Bree ($200, :wrench::wrench:, :shield:, Mechanic, Black Market Ties: May sell Parts to any Solid Contact for $300.) (C-P)
Scan-Proof Shades ($1000, :speech_balloon:, Fancy Duds, Crew carrying Scan-Proof Shades may ignore Alliance Wanted Crew rolls.) (G-P)

Turn 14.4 Burgess and Bonanza @DJCT

① Buy at Space_Bazaar with $2,000, 6f, 2p:

Hastily Forged Documents ($400, Discard for :speech_balloon:, Discard for Fake ID) (G-SB)
Explosive Charge ($400, Discard for :gun:, Discard for Explosives) (G-SB)
Improvised Hacking Rig ($400, Discard for :wrench:, Discard for Hacking Rig) (G-SB)

(This can potentially affect your options during the Fly so I’ll hold here.)

The corvette is going to move to the Space Bazaar.
(Apologies for stacking ship tokens!)

@Lordof1 must lose either The Middleman or Helen.
@DJCT must lose either Tracey or The Specialist.

Does the body armour not work for the corvette? Or the cry baby? If not I’ll lose Helen sigh.

Cry Baby only works to divert the cruiser, not the corvette.

Your EVA suit can hide one Wanted Crew, but not both of them.

They’re not being killed, they’re being arrested. There’s a genuine difference. Honest! (Ⓒ Alliance Penal Colony Public Relations Division)

Hmm - if I bought the fake id would that help. Also do my concealed cargo compartments up in this instance?

Fake ID has no intrinsic ability to protect crew - only things that specifically mention “Alliance Wanted Crew rolls”. But the Concealed Smuggling Compartments are such a thing, so you’re sorted.

That technically happened before @DJCT had a chance to start the Buy, but it’s over now - so go ahead and finish the Buy, and I’ll carry on with your CO.

I will buy the explosive and the hacking rig then full burn to Paris plz

@RogerBW asked for a die roll:
“Osiris, sir.” “One of those -ris planets.”

② Full burn, one fuel used.

  1. Enhanced Enforcement [–Place an Alliance Alert Token in every Sector occupied by an Outlaw Ship. --Keep Flying.]
  2. The Big Black [Keep Flying!]
  3. Alliance alert trips on a 1: d6: 1

@COMaestro, decide whether it’s the Cruiser or Corvette that pounces on Bonanza at Liann Jiun. (Neither will cause a loss of crew, but either will stop the flight here.)

And then it’ll be
Turn 14.5 Nandi and Bonnie Mae @gmwhite999

Nandi’s 2 Actions are:

  • Work: draw 3 jobs from Mingo and Fanty.
  • Buy: buy 3 fuel (as I didn’t last round) and draw 2 Beaumonde cards to consider with the Billiards Betting discard.

Eh, the Cruiser is already in the area, so let’s make it that.

Turn 14.5 Nandi and Bonnie Mae gmwhite999

① PM sent.
② Buy at Beaumonde with $1,700, 4f, 2p:

Billiards Betting ($500, GAMBLING. When you Buy this card, roll two dice. Take $100 times the total of the dice and discard this card.) (G-B)
Holder ($200, :gun:, :wrench:, :shield:, Pilot, Shanghai: When you Make-Work, you may also take a Fugitive Token.) (C-B)
Labor Contract: Persephone ($500, From any location, you may use a Buy Action to Hire 1 Crew from the Persephone Discard Pile for free.) (G-B)

Turn 14.6 Atherton and Interceptor @Lordof1

Nandi will buy Holder and the Billiards Betting again. I’ll have a quick think on the jobs before discarding those though.

@RogerBW asked for a die roll:
Billiards Betting winnings: 2d6: 2 + 6 = 8 × $100

@RogerBW asked for a die roll:
Open-ended up: d6+8: 12 × $100
