Today we played:
- Faraway: good fun in first play when we didn’t quite know what we’re doing. imagine further games to be more quiet and competitive. didn’t buy.
- Landmarks (short demo) I bought when he explained the plans they had for expanding the game. and also the team version.
- Time Troubles: pretty cool coop game about pattern matching with a real time component. Friends bought it
- Stone Shedding Game: more of a prototype game that was reminiscent of Scout. unbalanced special powers. has a neat thing where the better splay is just the higher number and you have some cards that have dual numbers on them. was okay-ish. we were desperate to sit down at that point
- Link City: very cool game about associations. Cooperative freestyle suburbia . would have bought it i didn’t have Landmarks. might still also buy
- Australis: friend liked the look of the game. some dice drafting action selection thing. meh.
- Demo of Dungeon Exit. Would have bought it line was shorter. May do so tomorrow.
Also bought the Playte Version of Can’t Stop.

I’d quite like to do Essen one year, if only to try some curry wurst.
Do they do vegan wurst? There was a small chain in London called Herman ze German which did a great vegan curry wurst. Then over covid they shut down! Since then I don’t think I’ve had a curry wurst at all…
