Essen/SPIEL 2024 (Okt. 3-6)

These days a lot of curry wurst places do vegan. Which is good for me the original contains beef … which I cannot eat these days.

I didn’t see any on offer, but most of the food trucks had some kind of vegan option.

I had 3 different rice bowls from 3 different trucks this year and they seem to be the best option to me. somewhat healthy, filling, low or devoid of meat and not too expensive (12€ on average). all of them tasted fine. I have had some really bad food over the years at the fair. and going to a bakery to bring a lunch to the fair is totally an option. bakeries have really great stuff usually. if you have one near whereever you stay → surely the cheapest possible lunch.

I am not sure curry wurst at the fair would have vegan options but outside of the fair I am assuming they would. at least in my town they do  along with all the burger shops offering various veg options these days.

Yeah it’s a real shame. They used to have one on my walk home from work, so I’d pick up a vegan curry wurst maybe once a month. No longer! I miss it, I don’t know any equivalents (vegan or otherwise)

Plank of Carneades? Looked to me as though they were having some component fit problems even in the demo copies.

I opened and sleeved the cards. Everything fits

Good to know, the “leak” tokens in particular seemed a very tight fit in the demo.
