You can fake it well enough if you have cards 0-7 in 5 suits (e.g. Rage, Sticheln, Parade) and dice to match—that’s how luna first showed it to me. It’s just nice to have the real thing and hope the designer gets paid a bit.

Quick impression is that it’s more fantasy Firefly—you are a mercenary leader and some of your crew will disagree with some of your actions.

Got a quick demo this morning, would have bought a copy if they’d still had stock. 5 card deck each, 3 attacks and 2 move/stance (different effects upright and inverted). You choose two cards, opponent ditto; reveal first cards simultaneously, do move then attack, then ditto second card. Win by scoring two hits. First card is out of play for next round, second returns to hand. Movement is on a five-point scale; 2 stances, attacks only work at specific ranges and sometimes stances. 3 special moves, each player has one, usable only once per game each. The last three cards track stance and range, and the whole thing goes in a fabric wallet.
Next printing is nearly on the boat, expected retail December.

just want to note we’re on our way home and while using Autobahn this way I still preferred my “cancelled train” experience from last Thursday.
The longest line after Lorcana was definitely Ticket 2 Ride Legacy. We like trains here. Despite everything.

Not yet available, first reaction was “this is my job”:
First to finish plugging up to match the card wins that round. On later rounds, you can only unplug one end of one cable at a time.

My favourite excuse from Northern Rail has to be “this train is delayed due to a late departure from the depot” - AKA the train is late because the train is late.
Mind you, I did get pretty fit from sprinting the length of Leeds station and carrying my bike up and down the stairs when I commuted by train…
