He’s not strictly a comic character (toys and cartoons, I think). I am thinking if it was one of the Marvel heroes, the clue would have been superhero?
Whoever has the strongest feelings about comics should answer the choice then and that is not me. So 1–2–(3|4)?
I suppose I come at comic book characters from a different angle. I know little about Marvel, DC, or 80s cartoons, but I do know a few comic book characters that are skeletons. I wouldn’t normally go from a general clue to a specific named character then back to a general keyword either.
It took this conversation to realize that many people would only consider specific Marvel and DC characters when thinking of comic book characters. Perhaps some people (many people?) even think of say, manga and comic books as distinct categories, which is something I don’t do.
Oh, and I just realized I thought the clue was “comic book character”, instead of “comic character”. It could well mean a comedian.
To reverse it if they meant skeletor they could and more likely would have said cartoon character.
