I genuinely thought I was going to be under $20 for most of the game.
It was only in the last 5-6 turns when I worked out what I was doing.

Regardless of the scores, I’ve really enjoyed this game. I wouldn’t pay £90 for it, but I’ll look out for it at a sensible price.
Thanks to all of you, it’s been a joyfully silly heavy economic experience. If it comes up again I’d jump at the chance to play again.

Out of interest, how much does it change from game to game? Obviously it’s pretty tactical, but do you do something similar each play?

I’ve never beaten them at anything, but I did once correct them on a rule in fire in the lake and to me that counts as a win.

This was a fantastic read everyone! Good effort. Shout out to @RossM for the map updates.
For those playing, I look forward to seeing how you manage your pollution and bodies in Antiquity. I hope Captain Snuggles new job as mayor goes smoothly. If all else fails I guess he can just pack everything into a container and do what he knows…
