@RogerBW If an outsider arrives in town and is evil are they told who else is evil?

(Note distinction between Traveller and Outsider, which I keep messing up…)

A good Traveller is told nothing.
An evil Traveller is told the identity of the Demon.

Nominations are open. Without a nomination, dusk will fall at 2021-04-12T19:31:00Z.

Before anyone makes a nomination, it may be best for @Najim to use his ability if we think it might clear somebody of suspicion.

:ghost: I disagree. It’s best to wait until we know if anyone is to be lynched and to look at voting patterns and then shoot someone. Shooting a non imp does nothing. :ghost:

I’m can’t see any harm in @Najim telling us. Why would that be a problem? It’s not like we need a lot of evidence to kill anyone around here.

Telling us what @Lordof1 ?

What they suspect with their ability. Oh wait sorry. Understand now. The pointy thing. Sorry, been a long day.

Just as a summary of people and claimed roles, since I think there is some confusion:

DJCT - Fortune Teller
GeeBizzle - Investigator
Najim - Soldier
Assussanni - Slayer
KIR2 - Virgin
pillbox - Bureaucrat
Whistle_Pig - Librarian
Lordof1 - Recluse
COMaestro - Mayor
RossM - Washerperson
GabrielH - Empath
Chewy77 - Butler

Also, if people would prefer that I use my power before nominations let me know, I can see pros and cons either way.

But just as a heads-up I probably won’t be available for the next 12 hours or so,

:ghost: I always find statements like these interesting. Not because of who they name, but who they omit. :ghost:

Personally, I’m not worried about who Assussanni uses “their” power on, because I think they’re an Imp, so they’re power will probably work fine anyway. Which brings us to the point of this post, because

I nominate @Assussanni

I already explained this a couple times, but by deduction, they’re really the only suspect left, and according to @DJCT, neither I nor GeeBizzle are the imp. There is still a minion, but we can crush the head of the snake here, and have it over with. That’s the main point here.

Assussanni’s behavior has also been otherwise quite suspicious; they claimed an unnamed power early on, but then changed very suddenly once everyone else had revealed their true roles. Their current claim to be the Slayer would be convenient, but it’s a little too convenient, again, sounding to me like someone who wanted to claim that role, but didn’t want to risk competition for it, so waited till the good guys had settled into their own claims to go for it.

And sure, they haven’t really whispered to anyone, but as the Imp, they don’t need to, especially as it looks to be a Baron/Scarlet combo, who don’t really have anything to say.

Also, for the record, I vote Yes.

PS. And I know someone’s going to say this, but I’m not interjecting this to interrupt the potential Slaying, but real-life timing means that I have to.

My defense:

(1) My role: I whispered that I was the Slayer to Najim and Whistle_Pig at the start of the second day, which they can confirm. I was deliberately vague to make it look like I could be the Chef and hence appear less tempting to the Imp due to my desire to live until there were fewer targets. It was also vague enough that I could also have covered for or teamed up with a Fortune Teller - ultimately I would rather have an alive Fortune Teller than an alive Slayer.

(2) I have no information - and have always been careful to say that I have no information that would help, rather than risk misleading anyone by leaning into the Chef deception. Being the Slayer makes it almost impossible to prove that I am good - I have to pick the correct target, at which point the game ends unless there is a Scarlet Person. And yes, this does also make it a good role for an evil player to bluff as but there is nothing I can do about that.

(3) My earlier post lays out my thinking about what might be going on, but I believe GeeBizzle is evil and GabrielH is either evil or drunk. GeeBizzle didn’t give full information on the first day - simply saying that Chewy pinged as evil - rather than also implicating KIR2, who as the claimed Virgin could have been nominated and potentially saved Chewy from execution. An Empath remaining alive for so long suggests that they are either evil or drunk; if there is a poisoner I believe that they targeted DJCT, possibly even KIR2 on the second night to set up KIR2 and RossM, although I think KIR2 was the Baron.

In summary: I think the evil team is GeeBizzle, KIR2 and one other and that GabrielH’s continued existence can only be explained by being drunk or evil. However, given that I can use my power even if I am scheduled for execution, killing me would not be the end of the world.

I vote no.

I can still use my power after, so you’re good. Sometimes real life gets in the way, so this definitely shouldn’t be taken into consideration for the vote.
