Blood on the Clocktower 2: Bloodier on the Clocktower (game thread)

RossM, please defend yourself; then we can proceed to the voting.

Whether I die or not is fairly immaterial.

Let’s talk about voting patterns.

Who wanted to execute DJCT? No one. That’s weird.

Who wanted to save Kir2? DJCT, Geebizzle, Assussanni, Kir 2, Whistle Pig, Comasestro, Rossm, chewy

Who wanted to save Chewy? DJCT, Chewy, Kir2, Geebizzle

Who wanted to kill Gabriel? DJCT, Kir2, Chewy

Or to paraphrase;

DJCT, Chewy and Kir2 wanted to save DJCT.

DJCT, Chewy and Kir2 wanted to save Kir2.

DJCT, Chewy and Kir2 wanted to save Chewy.

DJCT, Chewy and Kir2 all want the empath dead.

So. I think these are the roles. I don’t think we have a spy, because if we did the imp would have eaten someone due to the perfect information available. I think if we discount the information from these three people, everyone else’s information correlates.

DJCT Imp/Poisoner

GeeBizzle - Investigator

Najim - Unknown

Assussanni - Unknown

KIR2 Imp/Poisoner

Whistle_Pig - Librarian

Lordof1 - Recluse

COMaestro - Mayor

RossM - Washerwoman

GabrielH - Empath

Chewy77 – Scarlet Person

So, there you go. If I get lynched the village loses a member who can provide no new information, and our empath will be sitting between two evil folks. If I live the villagers can hang someone else.

Hugs.

DJ and Chewy were definitely together, but whether that’s good or bad is unknown.

The problem is that by my deduction, the only possible way Ross isn’t bad is if either 1) GeeBizzle pinged two evil people or 2) I’m drunk, in which case KIR2 is evil.

(From my understanding “At the Start” roles act before poisoner? So Investigator can’t be poisoned? And we can’t both be drunk)

Both of those solutions have a less than 10% chance of happening, so I vote yes.

(was going to nominate him anyway)

P.S. He also did the multi-stage info reveal, which always seems suspicious to me. And his “defense” was only accusing DJCT? Nothing to excuse himself?

The first night order is:

  • Minion Info
  • Demon Info
  • Poisoner
  • Washerwoman
  • Librarian
  • Investigator
  • Chef
  • Empath
  • Fortune Teller
  • Butler
  • Spy
  • Dawn

I vote yes.

Ah thanks Roger.

Yeah, that basically opens the possibility that me and GeeBizzle were both compromised, and no one is evil. But who’s gonna believe that :joy:

:ghost: Or because, as I said aplenty, I could not vote Yes unless my master did. Which I have. and every time waited (as I had to) for him to vote. :ghost:

Ah I see! I had taken the ‘can only vote if the master has voted’ to mean if the master abstains from voting it blocks out the butler. Rereading the rules and roles, it does appear the rulebook means ‘voting’ = a yes vote only and deciding no = not voting. How obtuse!

:ghost: Yes, i think it comes from the raised finger rules on live playing. If he had changed from Yes to No in any vote (as I believe you can live by lowering your hand before the votes are counted) I would have had to lower my had as well. :ghost:

Yes. I think the rulebook could do with a ground-up rewrite anyway (to be fair I say this about most rulebooks), but this in particular could do with some clarification.

@RogerBW - Quick question, how are you GMing this. Are we allowed to discuss this and raise points, or are we just supposed to be voting.

Good point. I’ve deleted my points and will raise them the next day

You can raise them right after the vote, don’t have to wait for the next day.

Apologies if I spoke at the wrong time - do you want me to delete?

Probably best. I think in PBF terms the phases would go something like:

  • A nominates B
  • B speaks in their defence, other people can make points, voting can start at any time
  • Once the first vote is cast, discussion should end
  • once all the votes are in, discussion can continue again

Then I’ve deleted too. I’ll watch and wait.

:ghost: Another message from the other side: I am not voting :ghost:

I think I made my point after the defence but before voting? That seems ok?

The rules say it goes straight from the nominated defence to hands. It doesn’t say anything about talking during the voting stage and says voting must be brief, so I presume it’s just vote after the defence and nothing else (?).
