I think this afternoon is the worst time to be travelling. Hopefully by the time you’re planning to arrive the snow will have stopped, and the council might even be on top of the gritting/road clearing

Made it to Harrogate, lurking in the Crowne Plaza lobby until my room’s ready at 3. The worst of the snow was around the level of Leeds and Bradford, and it steadily cleared after that.
