Ah, I was wondering why you hadn’t released this on Friday. Turns out it’s because yesterday was actually Thursday. Carry on, as you were.

Sorry to bother you. I was just wondering if some more Whartson Hall would be on the way in the near future. Finding this Bayern interesting to listen to.

We’ve had a brief hiatus to play another game that hasn’t been released yet - that audio will be out once the game is released. We’re back on the Bayern horse on Tuesday so I think that audio will be out the following week sometime?

Probably this coming Friday 16th, assuming nothing gets in the way.

Thank you very much both of you for getting back to me. I look forward to hearing the next episode. Great to hear you are doing some pre release playing. I hope you are enjoying it. (I know you might not be able to answer this).

I think we’re able to say at least that it was a GURPS game and yes, we had a very great deal of fun with it.

From the 1992 Tales of Talislanta anthology. I will keep a ready eye for further examples.

Well spotted, and it was a reference, but from a different source:

The stone-cold fear which had been hovering about Arthur all this time, waiting for its moment, recognized that its moment had now come and pounced on him. He tried to fight it off. He dropped into a kind of alert crouch that he had once seen somebody do on television, but it must have been someone with stronger knees.

I hadn’t picked up the reference but really felt the description in my increasingly achy body.

Roger: “speaking as someone who likes to describe the minutiae of FTLdrives . . .”

Stay away from the Alien RPG, then Roger!
