I think there’s a flip-side to the oversimplified introductory game: Red7 is a lovely simple game of changing the rules and having the highest card, which you can if you want overcomplicate with special card powers. I’m not the only person who finds the “basic” game highly preferable.

That’s an interesting take on Flick of Faith. I really enjoyed that one, even if a bit loaded on rules for a filler flicking game. Good ol’ Crok and Pitch Car remains the most sublime at rules weight. But FoF got a smaller box, which is a plus to me.

I shouldn’t have sold Pitch Car. (Roadsterz is good fun, but not the same sort of fun.)
