PS if I ever manage to sell Ankh, I am definitely getting Bloodrage (looking at my OLGS #2 wishlist I remembered that fact.)
Super happy to run a Roll table on BGA! I bought it halfway through my first play.
Good news on Dogs of War is that it is next on Moriās reprint list (having done Ethnos and Libertalia recently). Sounds like theyāve finally set a timeline.
I keep hearing Rebel Princess brought up and have intentionally learned zero about it. Imperium also seems to be talked about frequently and Iām seeing how long I can avoid knowing anything about it.
Andromedaās Edge does look pretty hawt, though, and itās going to get researched sometime this year.
I do need to cull more than I buy, so this year has a hard 10 game / $500 limit (whichever comes first) and Iām going to manage closely what makes the cut. Also sticking to my rubric of not buying anything* unless it is already three years old.
(*remakes or deeply tenured publishers/designers can be waived)
Apart from LOTR: Duel nothing is actually flagged for a buy yet. But the most interesting things on my research list:
- Leaving Earth
- Manhattan Project: Energy Empire
- Food Chain Magnate
- On Mars
- The Magnificent
- Mexica / Renature
- Dogs of War reprint
- Pax Ren 2e
- Andromedaās Edge
- Marrakesh
- Age of Innovation
- Courtisans
- Marvel United
Things that are out of print or overpriced but Iād really like to have or try:
- Glory to Rome, of course
- Dead Reckoning
- Aqua Garden (This is like Foundations of Rome, a $150 filler, but I would snap up a $30 edition)
Itās real pretty and real boring. I have it (from the KS, I was into backing obscure stuff at the time plus my partner really really really loves Aquariumsānot home-sized ones, the big ones ideally with sharks et al). We played it like 3 times before I decided there wasnāt enough game for me in there. And I do enjoy quite a few light games ā¦ I might just try to play the solo again to be able to give a more refined opinionā¦
Add it to the list for Airecon?
