The components got created in the stories that were collected as Burning Chrome. Those were what stimulated Terry Carr to give Gibson an advance to write a novel.

I previously read 1, 2, 3 and then Burning Chrome last, which meant I only just now got all the references Molly makes about Johnny in Neuromancer.

I’m re-readiing Neuromancer before the show starts up (not even sure when that is). It’s definitely not an easy relaxing read, I find myself re-reading bits of it because I wasn’t paying attention.
Mona Lisa Overdrive is such a cool title for a book.

I have just had the new Red Dwarf novel written by Rob Grant, the actually funny one, arrive. And it’s brilliant. And bittersweet, because he died before it was released and so that’s the end of it. Really enjoying it however and really grateful to have it. It’s co-written by Andrew Marshall so I maintain vague hopes of a continuation, but be careful what you wish for, I guess.
Chris Barrie is doing audiobook duties again, as he did for the first 2. Highly recommended so far. You did us proud, Rob. Thank you.

Reading Strange Pictures by Uketsu. Pretty cool compelling read so far. Recently read Strange Houses as well, that was also decent but probably preferring this one.
