All the cool kids game in the Arden bar in the evening, it’s much nicer than the huuuuuge room at the Hilton.
Yeah. I have stayed in the Arden a few times. The lobby is just games happening. A friend used to book one of the meeting rooms before they moved to the resorts world building.
Inspired by listening to Ava Foxfort on her podcast, and having been asked to work again, we’ve booked a hotel for Expo next year.
Staying onsite, the plan is to be able to freshen up after being on the stall before having an evening of games.

As its my 50th next year, I might even be able to go!! Surely noone can begrudge me going away on my 50th year?

This year I definitely found the Arden more congenial than the huge Hilton rooms for evening gaming.
The uber-organiser friend have booked some rooms but I might skip it and do the usual Friday escapade and then leave in the afternoon
