I came to the game too late for that.
Looks like what I need if I want to play. My wife saw a core box at a consignment sale and bought it for me, as it said it was complete. It was far from complete, as there are absolutely no tokens in it. On the bright side, there’s a lot of cards from an expansion or two. I think I went through and verified that all the core box cards were there, but it is definitely a jumble of expansion content. I think the original owner specialized in certain corps/runners, and this box either contained that or contained the leftovers. Either way, there are multiple copies of expansion cards.
Courtisans is my game of the con. Played it with qwertymartin and it was great. Had a good laugh with it.
We also played Cabanga! and Pass the Pigs
In the afternoons and evenings I was mostly playing with the 1PG, quite a range of games, but some highlights:
Dro Polter: I have quite large hands and this seemed pretty easy to me.
Push:: a very silly push your luck game which I will definitely buy as a filler.
Haggis: ploughed through the rules, not as clear as they might be, and got utterly demolished in a two-player game.
Sounds like it needs a handicapping system. Perhaps adding a certain number of Brussels sprouts to your group of objects, depending on your hand span
Well, whilst a little disappointed nobody here came to say hello, I must admit we were rushed off our feet from the moment doors opened on Friday. Loads of people had great things to say about Spokes, and apparently there’s buzz about it!
I’ve since made a Facebook group about it, so if anybody is on there please consider joining: Redirecting...
Otherwise here are some photos!
Well, I did drop by, but I think you may have been on a break. I was at the far end of Hall 2 so I didn’t make it over much.
Sorry Roger! I guess in that case I was disappointed I missed you!
It’s always filled when i drop by!
I walked past about 5 times and you were always super engaged. Which is good for you!
Awww thanks everyone. Just interrupt and shout you know me from the internet!
Yes, I also walked past and the stall was packed and busy! You were close to the entrance of Hall 1 and the human density was a bit much for me around there…
