Okay.

I have 2 PDS on Hope’s End and 2 more on Mallice, plus Plasma Scoring for a total of 5. They usually hit on 5+, but you have Antimass Deflectors, so they all hit on 6+.

PDS 6+: pool 5d10: 1, 3, 4, 2× 7

Two hits for @GabrielH to allocate.

That brings us to @MIGHTYSploosh and the Winnu’s turn.

@GeeBizzle I keep forgetting you also have PDS II tech. Did you want to shoot at the Ghosts at the Alpha Wormhole as well? You will get 2 shots if you do.

@Captbnut You also have 3 PDS shots (from your Flagship) within range of the Ghosts at the Alpha Wormhole. Did you want to take those shots as well?

… at this point I think it’s only fair to ask @GabrielH if you really wanted to send those 4 ships to the Alpha Wormhole? That’s potentially 10 PDS shots coming at your little fleet.

I’m happy to let you mulligan the decision before everyone else opens fire and we can pretend you decided something else if you want. Your call… I mean, I only hit twice, you might get very lucky or you could start offering “Please Don’t Shoot Me” bribes…

Sadly no for me. You are too close to my home systems, and the only promissory note I would want (Support for the Throne) would be lost the moment I have to dislodge you from that position.

@GeeBizzle or @Captbnut, does anything the Ghosts offer interest either of you?

The cannons have spoken, and the barrage will continue until morale improves.

In both cases the PDS hit on 5+ but the Ghosts have Antimass Deflectors so they will hit on 6+ instead.

Mentak PDS fire (6+): pool 2d10: 2, 10

Xxcha PDS fire (6+): pool 3d10: 2, 3, 9

That’s a total of 4 hits (including my 2 from earlier), wiping the Ghost fleet out unless @GabrielH has some tricks up his sleeve.

That brings us back to @MIGHTYSploosh and the Winnu for their turn.

Cool, that brings us to me:

I will activate Elysium and build a Cruiser (2) and a Destroyer (1) by spending 2 Trade Goods and using Sarween Tools.

I gain 1 Trade Good, which the Mentak and @GeeBizzle is welcome to take.

It would also lead us to their turn, but they’ve passed so we instead go to @Captbnut and the Xxcha for their turn.

I’m going to send 2 cruisers, 3 fighters and an infantry from my home system to Archon Vail please.

Hope those PDS’ don’t hit

To clarify, you only have Carriers at your home system (posted back in 676; I had to scroll a long time to find it).

Also, you can bring in ships from elsewhere as well, so long as they are not locked down.
